  • Is the base currency of my account fixed?

    Yes, the base currency at the time of your account’s creation is set and cannot be changed.

  • Can I adjust my leverage?

    Yes, leverage depends on several factors including the instrument being traded and the type of account that you have.

  • What are my base currency options?

    The base currency of your account can be USD, EUR or GBP.

  • My details have changed. What should I do?

    You can contact the support team to notify them of any changes to your personal details. They will reflect the updates in your account.

  • Where can I learn more about the Account Types offered by CFD Centre?

    Navigate to the Accounts page and explore the options tabulated there.

  • Is it possible to change my Account Type?

    Yes, you can make this change by increasing your deposits. Your Account Type will automatically be upgraded when you cross certain thresholds.

  • Can I trade on behalf of someone else with CFD Centre?

    At this time, all trading activity that you engage in using CFD Centre must be your own activity. You are not permitted to trade on behalf of others.

  • What must I provide in order to verify my account?

    You can verify your account by submitting a proof-of-identity and a proof-of-address. The POI can be a coloured cop of any governmentissued ID with a photo (e.g., passport or license). Your proof of address can be a utility bill or other bill showing your current residential address and issued within the last 3 months.

  • What is the point of KYC verification?

    CFD Centre holds itself to high standards in order to adhere to international know-your customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering requirements. This increases security for all end-users.

  • I would like more funds to trade with in my demo account. How can I arrange this?

    Please contact customer support in order to make this request. They will be able to handle it for you.

  • How do fees work at CFD Centre?

    CFD Centre does not charge commissions. Instead, its business model relies on the spreads in the instruments offered through the trading platform.

    A demo account is a practice account that enables you to test the CFD Centre platform with ‘fake’ money. It mimics the real money trading experience, but without offering the risks and returns associated with real money.

  • Is my mobile device supported?

    The CFD Centre platform can be used on any mobile device that supports a modern web browser.

  • How can I download the CFD Centre platform software?

    The CFD Centre platform is web-based so can be accessed using any modern web browser. There is no need to download any software, it’s all done in the browser.

  • Are multiple accounts supported?

    CFD Centre does offer sub-account functionality. So you, as a single client, can have multiple accounts in parallel.

  • How much must I deposit to start using CFD Centre?

    Live trading is available to any client who deposits at least $250.

  • How long before I can place my first trade?

    You can place a trade as soon as you’ve made a deposit and the deposited funds have been reflected in your account.

  • What is the account creation process?

    You can open a CFD Centre account simply by clicking ‘create account’ on the CFD Centre website. It takes only a few minutes to get started.

  • How can I add funds to by CFD Centre account?

    Funds are typically deposited by bank wire, ewallet, credit/debit card or cryptocurrency.

  • How long does it take for my deposit to reach my CFD Centre account?

    The timing depends largely on the payment method that you choose. Bank wires can take up to several business days, while cryptocurrency deposits are virtually instant.

  • How can I withdraw my funds?

    Withdrawals are processed for verified accounts following CFD Centre’s receipt of your request for a withdrawal which requires the completion of a simple form. You will be notified throughout the process.

  • What is the typical timeframe for finalizing a withdrawal?

    Withdrawals are normally processed by CFD Centre within 24 hours but the amount of time it takes for you to receive the funds will depend largely on the method of payment.

  • Can my withdrawal request be cancelled?

    It is possible to cancel a withdrawal address, provided that the status is still Pending.

  • Where can I submit a withdrawal request?

    Assuming your account is verified, you can submit a withdrawal request in the members’ area of your account.

  • What is the currency of my trading account?

    All accounts at CFD Centre must specify a base currency – either USD, EUR or GBP. You can still fund your account using your local currency, but this may result in additional exchange fees from your financial institution.

  • Why is there a delay between the time I make my deposit and the time it is reflected in my CFD Centre account?

    There is typically a slight delay but this varies widely depending on the funding method used. Deposits made using cryptocurrency are typically processed very quickly.
